Happy students on OmetepeAbout our coffee

Our coffee is grown by family farmers on Ometepe Island in Nicaragua. Pegasus Coffee Company on Bainbridge Island roasts it fresh each week.

We ship orders promptly, usually within one day. We heat-seal bags, so coffee in unopened packages stays fresh for about three months. Ordering in multiples of four or six 1-pound bags reduces packaging waste and gives you the best value. (International orders have different multiples because of box sizes.)

We cannot produce a decaf version of Café Oro because the minimum batch size is too big. So, as a convenience, we offer a combination of three 12-ounce bags of Café Oro and three 12-ounce bags of organic, decaf coffee from Pegasus.

Occasionally, customers want to pick up coffee at the roastery. This must be arranged in advance; email orders@bosia.org. Pegasus Coffee Company is located at 12935 Islandcraft Lane NE, Unit A5, on Bainbridge Island. From Highway 305, drive west on Day Road from Highway 305. Turn right at the sign for Zanshin Lane and circle down to the lower level. The roastery is the first unit on the right.
