Take short “Big Tree” walks to see some of the island’s largest trees with forest ecologist, Mike Bonoff, who will describe the old growth settings. You will visit a 6 foot diameter Sitka Spruce, an 8 ‘ diameter Douglas fir, twin 4’ firs, a mature cedar grove and a mature Grand Fir grove (Land Trust permission pending). Mike will guide up to 10 individuals on this tour.
