Coffee growers on Ometepe gather to compare how different processing methods and varieties affect taste and aroma.
Our coffee is grown by family farmers on Ometepe Island in Nicaragua. Pegasus Coffee Company on Bainbridge Island roasts it fresh each week.
We ship orders promptly, usually within one day. We heat-seal bags, so coffee in unopened packages stays fresh for about three months. Ordering in multiples of four or six 1-pound bags reduces packaging waste and gives you the best value.
We cannot produce a decaf version of Café Oro because the minimum batch size is too big. So, as a convenience, we offer a combination of Café Oro and organic, decaf coffee from Pegasus.
