Girl Scout Troop 44331 on Bainbridge Island decided again this year to skip the usual Girl Scout cookie sales and instead sell the Sister Islands’ coffee, Café Oro, as their fundraiser.
In late 2020 , the troop discovered that there was unethical and unsustainably resourced palm oil in the cookie that most Girl Scoout troops sell. So they decided to switch what they sell, and they created a website about the damage that palm oil plantations cause. To view the website, click here.
