2018 Library Delegation

Photography delegation teaches skills to deaf children
The January Special Needs Delegation, let by Brenda Berry, continued workshops in photography for deaf children. We originated this project with the goal of providing these kids with the opportunity to express themselves creatively to the hearing and non-hearing communities.
Another Ometepe “sister” celebrates 30th anniversary
We aren’t the only community association that’s enjoyed a long friendship with Ometepe. The Ometepe-Gulf Islands Friendship Association, on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia, has roots nearly as deep as ours.
